Through that experience, he identified a gap in the industry: a lack of urgency, ownership, and modern strategy needed to truly drive results.

In 2020, Matt founded Rooted Food Sales to build something different, a boutique brokerage representing premium, best-in-class brands through a hands-on, relationship-driven approach. At Rooted, he leads company strategy, brand partnerships, and business development, ensuring the team delivers measurable growth while staying grounded in integrity, thoughtfulness, and tenacity.
